The Small Oahu Tree-Snail comes from the Ko'olau Mountains in the northeast of the island of O'ahu, where the last populations were found on the Helemano, the Kawailoa as well as the Peahinaia Trails.

The species was last seen alive in the year 1989 (?), and is now considered most probably extinct.
